The Future of Technology: My views

The technology advances that we have seen in the last decade are something that we usually only imagined belonging to science fiction movies and novels, however, they have become a part of reality that we simply cannot deny. And these technologies have made our lives much easier. Now as to the future of technology, the sky is the limit in what we will find being produced. Already, there are productions of 3-D television, something that most people said would be years in the making and many people would not see in their lifetime. There are also the technology of flexible screens that are in the making that would allow cell phones to roll up as well as those e-book readers. All of this is something that most people never dreamed of seeing, yet alone being able to purchase on the consumer market.

So what other things can we expect with the technology of the future? In terms of television, we could possibly start to see voice activated television, which would be a huge hit with all those that have problems with keeping up with their remote, as we most do. In addition, we could begin to see even thinner televisions than what we already have as manufacturers learn to use smaller parts in order to get the picture one that is acceptable for people.

In terms of cell phones, they are going to get smaller and more high tech. It seems that we have no where else to go, however, where there is imagination there is always a way to find something that is bigger and better. Or in the case of the cell phone, smaller and faster.

The technology of the future is going to utilize the person in order to get the information that we need. We may find that there are ways in which this technology is going to use us as a guide as to what to do. For example, our words and actions could direct our computers to come to life and start a program, while also allowing the television to adjust the volume as we leave the room or so forth. The sky is really the limit when we think about the future of technology.

Already we are seeing more advances than we ever thought we would see. With the projection computers being able to respond to the nerves that are touched in the skin to trigger a response. This is something that is still in development, however, it is close to being a reality that we never thought we would find. In respect to science fiction we are unlikely to see time travel or the fact that we can zap ourselves to another location any time soon, after all fiction is fiction for a reason. But the thought of alternative fuel technology is something that we are dabbling in right now. There are more uses for lasers being found everyday, which is something that most people will remember from Star Wars movies.
